Individual Therapy
Individual therapy gives your needs our full focus. We provide a safe, sensitive sounding board for personal experiences, empowering you with insights about behavior and thought patterns, facilitated goal setting, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Family Therapy
Our therapists work with families, parents, and adolescents who are motivated to make positive life changes, improve interpersonal relationships, and promote emotional well-being within the family system. Experienced in navigating complex family dynamics, we explore how past relationships and cycles of behavior impact your present family life and provide problem-solving methods and skill-building exercises you can call upon in family life.
Group Therapy
Psychotherapy Group, like individual psychotherapy, is intended to help people who would like to improve their ability to cope with difficulties and problems in their lives. But, while in individual therapy the patient meets with only one person (the therapist), in group therapy the meeting is with a whole group and one or two therapists. Group therapy focuses on interpersonal interactions, so relationship problems are addressed in groups. The aim of Psychotherapy group psychotherapy is to help with solving emotional difficulties and to encourage the personal development of the participants in the group.
Play Therapy
OHW play therapy program invites children ten and up to learn new skills, process trauma, and gain control over their emotions and behaviors in a safe, comfortable environment. Unlike talk therapy, which relies heavily on processing problems with parts of the brain that are not yet developed in children, play therapy leverages the parts of the brain responsible for imagination, authentic emotional expression, implicit emotional memories, and non-verbal communication—all of which are fully developed in children. Play therapy provides a platform for deeply meaningful experiences for your child and opportunities for parent-child connection that improve your child’s sense of security and ability to engage with the world. We’ve curated a variety of activities and toys to facilitate healing play, and we actively engage parents in play therapy treatment so that improvements can continue at home and at school.
